Editorial standards
The rules behind every template, profile and pay figure on this site.
Contents
Every figure has a source
Each salary, rate, timeline and provider fact links to a source we opened, with the access date. If we cannot verify something, we leave it out.
Labels on pay data
Official statistics, search-firm samples and recruiter estimates measure different things. We say which is which next to each figure, and we note when the publisher earns fees from placements.
Templates are starting points
The job description, interview questions and contract checklist are editorial templates. They draw on published sources but are not legal advice. Where a point depends on law, such as worker classification, we cite the official guidance and say that rules differ by country.
Fair to every provider
Each provider is described with its strengths, limits and the buyers it suits, in the same neutral language. No provider pays to appear or to be ranked, and there are no affiliate links.
How we use AI tools
AI tools assist with research and drafting on this site. Before any page is published, an editor checks each fact against the source it cites.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, tell us. We fix verified errors quickly and record the change on the page.
